De Groene Uilen-Moestasj - English

On December 11th, it was time for another duel. The board had challenged the ToCo for some serious Jeu de Boules. Since it was a big group, we had two fields and so we had to divide ourselves up in different teams. After familiarizing ourselves with the rules (I mean, when was the last time you went to a camping in France and played this game?), the game was on. The ‘butjes’ were thrown, the field was raked, the distances were measured. It was a top-level game. You’d expect the board to have an advantage because they had a real Frenchy in their team. But with Frenchy or not, on both fields, it was an easy win for the board (8 vs 3 & 10 vs 2). We played for only 45 minutes and since everyone just got the hang of it, we decided to book another court. We mixed it up to make more equal teams and played just for fun.
