Geef om Gambia
May month is charity month!
We will make a collective effort to raise as much money as possible for Geef om Gambia (Translated: Care for Gambia) during the month May. This will be done with multiple activities.
Geef om Gambia is a foundation that cares for hospitals, schools and families in Gambia. The foundation helps by collecting money and essential resources. These recourses are shipped to Gambia. This way they already set up multiple successful projects where they educate the local population so they can become more independent. An example of this is the finished building of a hospital which is now completely run by locals.
Currently, they are building a school where children can learn English so they have a good opportunity for further education. We, G.S.B.V. De Groene Uilen – Moestasj, are going to help building this school. They don’t have enough money to build the roof of the school and they also need money to ship the school supplies to Gambia. Let’s work together and finish that school! How can you help?

Mei maand is goede doelen maand!
Met z'n allen proberen we met meerdere activiteiten gedurende de maand mei zo veel mogelijk geld op te halen voor stichting Geef om Gambia.
Geef om Gambia is een stichting die zich inzet voor ziekenhuizen, scholen en gezinnen. Ze helpen door middel van het verzamelen van geld en middelen. Deze middelen worden verscheept naar Gambia. Zo zijn er tot nu toe al meerdere mooie projecten opgezet waarbij ze de lokale bevolking opleiden zodat ze zichzelf beter kunnen redden. Een voorbeeld hiervan is er een ziekenhuis opgezet die nu volledig draait op lokale bevolking.
Momenteel ligt de focus op de bouw van een school waarbij de kinderen Engels leren zodat ze daarna ook de mogelijk hebben om verder te studeren. Wij, G.S.B.V. De Groene Uilen – Moestasj, gaan helpen met het bouwen van deze school. Ze hebben geen geld meer voor het bouwen van het dak van de school en daarnaast moet er geld komen om de schoolspullen te verschepen naar Gambia. Laten wij met z’n allen ervoor zorgen dat de school in Gambia afkomt! Hoe je kan helpen?
