Dear future OwlMoessie,

At the point of this writing, the season is well underway, but of course, one cannot start too early to prepare for the upcoming season. Do you want to become part of the most fun student basketball association in the Netherlands? Then make sure to enroll via our registration form, sign the SEPA form below, and send us an email. This way, you will increase your chances to play in green and black during the upcoming season.

Are you in need of some further information? Or would you like to participate in some trial practices before ultimately signing up? Make sure to mail us as well! Around the end of August, we will be hosting two tryouts, so make sure to check up on our website regularly for more information, and maybe, we will see you during the upcoming season!

Due to the high number of enrollments this season, we are maintaining a waiting list. To be included on the waiting list, it is important to send us your registration- and SEPA form to let us know about your interest. The waiting list is part of your ultimate enrollment, and your position on the list can increase your chances of becoming a member.

Teams and contribution

De Groene Uilen-Moestasj has in total 8 Ladies teams and 10 Mens teams. The levels of the teams vary from the 'third class' up to the promotion division, so there is a good chance that there is a team that suits your skills. The Technical Committee builds the team roster.

A team consists of 12 playing members and about 3 practice members. Practice members are first placed on a waiting list at the start of the season. When all playing members are placed in a team, the practice members will be placed in a team. It is possible to play games without any basketball experience.

The contribution differs per team, depending on the level and the number of practices per week. All teams practice twice a week, with the exception of the 1st Men’s team and the 1st Ladies’ team, they practice 3 times per week. More information about the contribution per team can be found here.

Tryouts 2023

On Tuesday, August 22, and Thursday, August 24, two tryout practices will be organized at the ACLO. There, you as a potential OwlMoessie, can show off your skills and potentially become a member. We would like to request you to fill in the enrollment form for the association prior to the happening of the tryouts.
